Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre
The first NKT center in the west was Manjushri Kadampa Meditation Centre, located in Ulverston, England. Manjushri is the home of our Spiritual Guide, Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Spring and Summer Festivals are held at Manjushri, which typically welcome almost 3,000 practitioners from all around the world.
Other Centers
As of spring, 2005, there are over 800 Kadampa Buddhist centers in forty countries, each with qualified teachers and a full program of introductory classes, structured study programs and meditation retreats. The centers vary in size from major temples to local branches. Below you'll find links to many other centers around the world. Of course, new centers are opening frequently.
